Camping Domestique

Q: Are both the Towel Service and Chair Service included with the Camping Domestique option?

Yes!

Q: What is the difference between the Economy, Standard and Large tents?

Answer:

Economy - 8' by 5' with a height of 4' (single occupancy)

Standard - 8 ' by 7' with a height of 5' (single or double occupancy)

Large - 10' by 8' with a height of 6' (single, double or triple occupancy)


Cancellation

Q: What happens if I have to cancel?

Answer: All cancellation notices must be made in writing by email, fax, or postal mail. Cancellations received at least 61 days prior to the tour departure date will be assessed a $30 fee. Cancellations received 60 to 30 days prior to the tour departure date will be assessed a 50% or $30 fee, whichever is greater. No refunds will be give for cancellations received less than 30 days prior to the tour departure date.


Chair Service

Q: Is the Chair Service included in Camping Domestique?

Yes!


Early Out Shuttle

Q: When does the Early Out Shuttle leave?

Answer: We usually leave in the mid afternoon to early evening from the overnight city.

Q: Where will the Early Out Shuttle take me?

Answer: For loop tours using a route with the start and end in the same city, we will always take you to your car. For destination tours using a route with the start in one city and the end in a different city, the first half of the tour we will take you to the starting city and the second half of the tour we will take you to the end city.

Q: Will you take my bike?

Answer: We will take you, your bike and your gear.


General

Q: What times are you available at the trailer?

Answer: Our trailer is staffed from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. If you need service before or after our normal trailer hours, please make arrangements in advance.

Q: What kinds of payments do you take?

Answer: We take payment by credit card through PayPal or by check. All returned checks will result in a $35 charge.


Hotel Domestique

Q: How do I get to the hotel?

Answer: Most riders ride their bikes to the hotel and either lock them or bring them inside. You may want to check with management before bringing your bike into the hotel.

Q: What should I not bring?

Answer: Do not bring soft-sided coolers as they leak.

Q: What if I need to leave the ride?

Answer: Please let us know if you need to leave the ride. We check each bag each day against a master list. If we don't see your luggage, we'll search for it which could delay delivery of luggage for others in the next overnight city. Call the cell phone number on the card you will get at check-in on the first day and leave a message if we are not available.


Registration

Q: Where do I meet you?

Answer: We will be at the first overnight location for registration the first day of the ride. Please find us and check in with us. We will provide orientation for you and verify all of the information that is in our database.


Towel Service

Q: Can I use the towels to wipe down my bike?

Answer: No! We have plenty of complimentary rags, cleaner and lube for you to use on your bike.

Q: What do I do if I want to pick up my towel when your trailer is not staffed?

Answer: We suggest picking up towels in the morning and packing them in a plastic bag in your luggage. When you arrive, you will have a clean set of towels waiting for you.

Q: When do towels need to be returned?

Answer: Dirty towels should be returned by 8:30 a.m.

Q: Is the Towel Service included in the Camping Domestique?

Yes!
